Welcome to Mr. Sanchez's History Class
Hi, my name is Mr. Sanchez, and I’m proud to be part of our school community. I teach 7th-grade World History, and I’m passionate about helping students discover the stories of the past and how they connect to the world we live in today. I believe learning should be engaging, meaningful, and a space where every student feels valued. Outside of teaching, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, and watching sports. I’m also passionate about helping others—whether it’s supporting my students, lending a hand to a colleague, or being there for my community.
I began my academic journey at Santa Monica College, where I earned my Associate of Arts degrees in History and Humanities. I went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in Education from the University of California, Riverside. After that, I completed my Single Subject Teaching Credential in History at California State University, Long Beach. These experiences not only deepened my love for history, but also strengthened my passion for teaching and working with students.
Teaching isn’t just my job—it’s something I truly care about, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a difference every day.
