About Me

Welcome to the 2024 - 2025 school year. My name is Ms.Roller-Smith and I will be your child’s mathematics teacher this upcoming year. I am very excited to start off this school year with your children. I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching mathematics and science at the elementary level. I currently hold a credential in Elementary/Special Education and have dedicated over 10 years to the field of education, with 2 years of direct teaching experience. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary and Special Education. My teaching philosophy centers around the belief that creating a learning environment conducive to active and engaged learning is essential for student success. As an educator, I strive to implement evidence-based practices in her classroom, ensuring that all students feel safe and supported. I am committed to making the educational experience enjoyable and enriching for her students, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
