About Mrs. Yehdego

Welcome! I’m Mrs. Yehdego, and I’m delighted to be your child’s teacher for the Computer Science Discovery enrichment course.

A little about me: I was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and have made the United States my home for the past 35 years. As a proud mother of three boys, one in seventh grade and twins in sixth, I find daily inspiration and joy in both my family and my work.

Teaching is my true passion. I am dedicated to supporting students’ growth academically and personally. With over 23 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working at Fleming Middle School, a community I deeply value and consider my second family. I look forward to partnering with you and your child as we navigate the exciting world of computer science in a positive and engaging environment.

  • Master of Arts in Education, Pepperdine University

  • Single Subject Teaching Credential in Mathematics, Pepperdine University

  • Computer Science Supplementary Authorization, UCLA

  • Golden Apple Award Recipient
