About Ms. Growsky

Welcome to the 2025 - 2026 school year! My name is Ms. Growsky, and I'm excited to be teaching my 17th year here at Fleming. Just a little about me…My background is working in a civil courtroom for O.C. Superior Court for 17 years. I realized it was not my passion, so I decided to return to school, follow my dream, and get my teaching credential. I attended Mount Saint Mary’s University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts and a minor in Sociology. I continued at Mount Saint Mary’s to earn my teaching credential in Special Education as well as a master's degree in Education with an emphasis in Special Education. I am also a National Board-Certified Teacher in the area of Exceptional Needs. My passion is teaching, and my objective is to provide students with the necessary skills of collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity that will lead to the development of their growth mindset. This just goes to show you are never too old to follow your dreams.
